Shipping and Returns Policy

Shipping Policy

  • Oxford & Nelson only ship within Australia
  • Delivery is via Australia Post or a third-party courier
  • All deliveries are sent with registered couriers and must be signed for at time of delivery. Under some special circumstances, courier deliveries may be replaced by Australia Post.
  • Shipping address cannot be changed once order(s) has been shipped.
  • As the registered couriers are third-party courier companies, Oxford & Nelson are unable to control their delivery time. The courier is also unable to ring you prior or during delivery.
  • If the delivery is to your home address, it is best to ensure someone is home to receive the goods. If not, we recommend using an alternative, like your work address for delivery.
  • If you are not home at the time of delivery additional delivery charges may apply.
  • Shipping cannot be sent to PO boxes and items must be delivered to occupied addresses
  • Orders cannot be cancelled once order has been shipped.
  • Shipping times may vary depending on your location, please allow 2 – 10 business days for delivery of stocked items.  Additional time for items that need to be ordered in may cause delays.  Back orders or delays will be notified to you directly.
  • Shipping charges are determined by packing size, weight, and delivery location.

Returning of Goods

Goods returned to Oxford & Nelson for change of mind or you have ordered incorrectly, will only be accepted on the below conditions:

 

  • Oxford & Nelson must be notified within 48 hours of acceptance of goods, of intent to return items.
  • Must be returned BEFORE 30 days of original purchase.
  • Goods must be returned in full i.e. No missing parts.
  • Goods/ Packaging must be in a saleable condition.

 

These Conditions Apply to ALL Returns:

 

  • 20% restocking fee applies for all items returned or cancellations.
  • NO returns of special orders will be accepted. 
  • Items returned between 30-60 days occur a 25% restocking fee
  • Items returned between 60-90 days occur a 30% restocking fee
  • Items returned between 90-120 days occur a 50% restocking fee
  • No items will be accepted as a return after 120 days
  • A freight surcharge will apply, when returning an item before 30 days where an item with shipping weight exceeds 20kg is to be returned to supplier. The freight will be calculated by Oxford & Nelson and is payable by the customer returning items.
  • A full refund will only be applied if goods are deemed not fit for purpose or an alternative cannot be offered. Refunds will be available for all goods sold with major faults/defects as per Australian Consumer Law.

All returns will be handled on a case by case basis and is at the sole discretion of Oxford & Nelson

 

Damaged Goods

Oxford & Nelson must be notified within 48 hours of acceptance of delivery, of any damages or none supplied items. Fragile items such as Mirrors and Shaving Cabinets are not covered for replacement or reimbursement if there is damage through transit. We have a Pickup option from Hawthorn, VIC to avoid this.

All bulky item orders will be calculated based on Suburb and Postcode of delivery.
